Historical Fiction Reading Vlog | Reading On a Time Crunch
Hi, everyone! We recently recorded a video where we focus mostly on reading without a lot of time. This is a topic we can relate to, and we thought a lot of others probably could as well. We thought it would be kind of interesting to film ourselves during a busy weekend and show how we pushed ourselves to read a little bit more! Thanks for watching! – Amelia and Mattie Grace

Living Like a Story
Hi everyone! It’s Amelia writing today. In today’s post, I talk a little bit about stories, their structures, and how both have helped me to look at life a little bit differently. I hope you enjoy! Introduction Have you ever read a book (or watched a film) and wished you could be transported into that world and time? If you’re anything like me, then you have wanted that pretty often! My Summer Writing Goals (and How You Could Set Some Too)
Hi, everyone! This is Amelia today. With school pretty much over and summer on its way, I thought I would talk a little bit about my writing goals for the summer and how I plan to achieve them. I also wanted to talk about how, even if you’re not a writer, you can set some goals too! I hope you enjoy this little spring collection that I gathered up for this post! Poems / quotes There is no time like Spring, When life’s alive in everything, Before new nestlings sing, Before cleft swallows speed their journey back Along the trackless track – God guides their wing, He spreads their table that they nothing lack, – Before the daisy grows a common flower Before the sun has power To scorch the world up in his noontide hour. –…

“It is finished.” (Happy Easter!)
Hello everyone! Mattie writing. (: I hope you all had a great Easter yesterday! I had a thought I wanted to share with you about Easter. I was finishing up a design for an Easter card, and was wondering if I should put “Happy Easter!” on the front when something popped into my head: It is finished. A long time ago, I heard or read something about this quote from John 19:30, and it struck me all over again. When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, he did everything that was needed to save me. Everything. Sometimes I find myself doing good things just because I think I…
