It&#8217;s from <em>The Twits<\/em>&nbsp;by Roald Dahl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><span style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"tadv-color\">&#8220;If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face. And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until you can hardly bear to look at it.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"tadv-color\">A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly, You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out-teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><cite>&#8211; Roald Dahl<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless of what Roald Dahl meant by &#8220;good thoughts&#8221;, what I think of is Ephesians 4:8:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-default\"><blockquote><p>Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable&#8211;if anything is excellent or praisworthy&#8211;think about such things.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re conventionally&nbsp;beautiful or not, when you have the love of God in you, when you think these &#8220;good thoughts&#8221;, no one can help but notice your true beauty. We live in a world of outward appearance and facade.
