• Organizing My Bookshelf

Hello! We did something a little different this week and made a video! This is the first time we have ever made a video for our blog, so we are still in the process of figuring things out and learning about film-making. We hope that you enjoy this video despite its flaws! This video was fun to make, and we hope to create (better) videos in the future! – Mattie Grace

  • Afternoon Tea

Hi everyone! Last week, we went to the European Delicatessen near our house for the first time. We wanted to buy some tea and to look around the store. They have a wide selection of tea, as well as food from many different European countries. Most of the packaging was in different languages, so deciding what we should buy was a challenge. Along with our tea, we also bought some cookies and chocolate. We purchased English Afternoon tea, which is very similar to English Breakfast tea, but Afternoon tea has bergamot in it, which is a citrus fruit. We liked this tea! It was a little bitter, but once we…

  • May Journal Spreads

Hello! This is Amelia. I’m going to show you some of my May journal spreads! Again, this was another month of experiments, but I am sure that every month of spreads will be that way as I try to figure out what works best for me! There are plenty of things I would change now with these, as well as a few things I will probably take to the next month! This cover page was kind of a last minute idea that I decided to go with, and that definitely shows through! I am not a fan of the flowers I drew on this page, but because May is my…

Hello! A couple of weeks ago we followed a lemon blueberry crumble recipe by CookingClassy.com that we had never tried before. We were excited to try a new recipe and we were also eager to review it for our blog, so we quickly got to work. We worked hard to prepare it and we even waited for it to cool, and then just as we cut the first slice, Mattie accidentally dropped a plate onto the edge of the crumble pan! It fell straight onto our crumble and shattered into a million tiny pieces. It was inedible, much to our despair! Mattie: After realizing that there were too many tiny…

  • Amelia’s Journal Spreads

Hello Everyone! This is Amelia. I just thought I would share a few of the journal spreads I’ve made over the last few months! I’m still experimenting a lot with what works best for me, so a lot of these pages are not quite how I want them to be or what I will go for in the future. I’m very excited to start working on May spreads! Here are the pictures… I really did’t know what I was doing when I started journaling at the beginning of the year (like I know what I’m doing now 😂), so I missed out on a lot of things I wish I…
