Hello everyone! Recently, we have found that we have not been as happy with some of our posts as we would like to be. After talking to each other, we came to the conclusion that this has to do with the fact that we have pushed back the posts that we would like to do so that we have time to post each week. Grüß dich! This is Amelia 🙂 Ever since we learned about Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (black forest cherry cake) in our German class, we have wanted to make it. We haven’t made many cakes before, especially from scratch, so even though we knew that this cake would be a challenge, we wanted to give it a try. From what I know, this cake is a popular German dessert that some Germans like to have on their birthdays. It is normally made with kirsch, which is alcoholic, so I found a recipe that substituted that with apple juice. Little Landscape Paintings
Hi everyone!As we were planning out our posts for the month of July, Mattie found a tiny canvas she had bought a while ago while rummaging around in her junk drawer. We’ve both wanted to get better at painting, so when we saw the canvas, we thought it would be fun to paint on a small scale! We each painted three landscape paintings. We used photos we found on Pinterest for our references. We don’t have much experience in painting, but we had fun trying a different art medium than we are used to and we hope we will get better with practice! Hello everyone! We both love having a variety of bookmarks, and we wanted to make a couple more and show you how we made them. We hope you enjoy!
