  • Things I’ve Been Enjoying Lately

Hello, everyone! It’s Amelia writing today. For this post I just thought I’d share a few things I’ve been enjoying recently. I really like when others do this type of post because it really helps me to reflect on the things I’ve enjoyed and to think more about counting my own blessings. And not only that, but it seems that many things usually get in the way of these plans. When I look back at my life, I find that the first week of January is usually a disappointing one. I look back at journals and see some of the struggles I’ve gone through…

  • Each Small Commitment

Hello, everyone!  This is Amelia writing today.  With NanoWrimo upon us, I thought that it would be a great time to bring up the topic of commitment.  For those who may not know, NanoWrimo is a time when many writers set out to write 50,000 words in thirty days. This is my first time to participate in it, and I am realizing just how much of a commitment it is!  In this post, I’d like to talk a little bit about what commitment means, an example of commitment, and what comes from our commitments.  Commitment means a dedication to a cause, even when that cause gets long and unappealing. One…
