Art Journal Pages
Hello everyone!
Today I just wanted to share my art journal pages and a few reasons why you might want to start an art journal, too!
I haven’t been doing this for very long, and I’m certainly not good at it, but it’s very fun to do! This was my first page, and it doesn’t look very good. I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to do when I made this, but I think I’m figuring it out a little more now.
And my second, again, a bit strange and not very good.
For me, art journaling is a way for me to get creative. It’s my chance to be a bit dramatic, or write about something on my mind, or just to have fun. It’s a space that has no rules and allows me to just stick pretty things on a page.
While right now I mostly focus on the decoration, it’s also a great place for me to write about my day or anything I’m thinking about.
I work best with a theme, so I like to find a quote and start with that as the basis for my design.
Art journals are a really fun place to put little memories into, and to let your creativity run wild. I’m really glad I started doing one, and if you’re looking for a way to relax and get creative, I highly recommend starting one yourself!
If you want any more inspiration, I would recommend checking out the blog A Farm Girl’s Life. She’s mostly a photography blog, but she also shares some of her art journal pages, and they’re really cool!
Thanks for reading!

Mattie, I love this! I’ve never been too good at starting a journal and STICKING with it, but if I can do that one day, I will be happy. Oh, I have seen A Farm Girl’s Life as well and she has some neat spreads. Okay, so now I kind of do what to go journal.
