Planting a Garden for the First Time
Hello, everyone! We recently started growing a garden and thought that it would be fun to document the process! We don’t really know what we’re doing, but it’s a newer hobby for us and we’re excited to see how everything turns out. Thanks for watching!

Ahh, this was such a fun video! We’ve started “gardening” as well recently, though all our plants are all over the place in whatever random containers we already had. Your garden bed looks beautiful though! I would love to see what you’re able to harvest/how the gardening goes.
Also, Amelia totally slayed the gardening and was 100% worthy of the epic soundtrack.

Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be showing the end result when the time comes š
Haha, I think I need to be more careful with what I do when Mattie is videoing! XD Glad you liked it though, lol.

Nice! I love gardening. I had no clue when I started, and still don’t usually haha, but every year I manage to harvest a little more than the year before (and kill a little less of my plants too). This looks like a great garden and I look forward to updates. We have three growing seasons in Idaho, so my motto when some stuff doesn’t thrive, or if I don’t plant in time, is “there’s always the Fall garden!” so just keep learning as you go, it’s one of the best hobbies!
P.S. Try planting chamomile- it’s easy to grow and easy to harvest for tea!

Thank you so much for your comment! š There’s definitely a lot to learn, but I’m really glad we decided to get more serious with gardening. We have three tea herbs right now, but have yet to try chamomile. Thanks for the tip!

Wow, this was SUCH a neat video! I love that you planted a garden; we will probably do that as well a bit later in the summer. I can’t to wait to hear about your progress, and can I just say I am so jealous of your cool weather!
I agree with Lillian; Amelia could totally be in Lord of the Rings. XD
