Our Teacup Collection
Hello everyone! For the past couple of years, we have been collecting teacups. On our thrift shopping trips, we like to look through the teacups and occasionally buy ones that we really like. We thought we would share our mini-collection with you!
We own two of each of the teacups below. We both own one of each.
This teacup is one of our favorites! We love the detailed print and intricate handle and shape.
This one, and the teacup above, were both given to us by our mom. These two teacups are what sparked our interest in teacups!
Mattie’s Teacups
This teacup is the first one I ever bought. When I bought it, I didn’t really know what I was doing and didn’t give any thought to the fact that it doesn’t have a saucer. I just thought it was pretty, and didn’t realize that having no saucer would bother me in the future. But even though it is saucer-less (I’ll get over it someday!), I still think it is pretty, with its subtle gold and pink flower print!
I thought this one was really cute (even though geese and I don’t get along too well), and I really like the blue, orange, and pink color scheme!
This one is interesting, as it has the pattern on the inside of the cup, instead of the outside. It also has quite a lot of green, which I don’t have a lot of, even though it’s one of my favorite colors!
Amelia got me this one for Christmas! She melted a candle into it and I use it all the time!
I found this teacup after searching through an antique store for a long time! It has such a pretty pattern, with the yellow scroll-like pattern and the pink and blue flowers.
Amelia’s Teacups
This was the first teacup I bought! I got it only so that I could melt a candle into it a long time ago. Because of the time that’s gone by, my taste in teacups has changed quite a bit, so I probably wouldn’t have picked this one out now, though I still think it’s pretty.
This is one of my favorites! I try to buy teacups sparingly because I don’t have a lot of space for them (which is why I don’t have very many!), so I almost didn’t get this one, but I’m very glad I did. Though I like more round-shaped teacups, I still love the print on this one!
One of our friends gave us this tea set, which was very sweet of her! The glass is so thin and delicate, that it almost feels like plastic!
We hope you enjoyed looking at our teacup collection! We will have another post up next Monday!
Thanks for reading!
